Louisiana is in CRISIS!!!
- Our State is Facing a $1.6 Billion Budget Deficit
- Hospitals Are Closing and the Most Vulnerable Citizens in Our State Have Inadequate Access to Quality, Affordable Healthcare.
- Higher Education Is Facing an 82% Cut and Public Education Is AgainThreatened with Inadequate Funding.
- Our Elected Officials must Find a Way to Adequately Fund the Functions of Government.
We believe that the answers can be found by coming together as a state and praying for solutions. All of our State Legislators and the community are invited to join the Rev. Dr. Joe Connelly, Pastor of the Wesley United Methodist Church, and Dr.
Michael McClanahan, President of the Baton Rouge Branch of the NAACP, at The First Annual Capital Area Legislative Prayer Service.
